Born in 1918, he trained at Bishop's College, Cheshunt and was ordained in 1955. He was Rector of Hardenhuish from 1962 until 1968. He married Elizabeth 20th March 1940 whilst a regular Officer in the Royal Marines. He was awarded the military OBE in 1952. He had three children, Susan, Alison and Penelope.
He died in 1997.
